Goal:
Each player is an owner of a start-up advertising agency in the city. Your goal is to make your agency the most profitable.
Overall logic:
You get profit from your clients when you provide advertising services to them. To provide advertising services you need to have different types of human resources: analysts, creatives and project managers. Each client has different needs so you will have to manage your human resources to fulfill clients’ needs and make a profit.
GAME PARTS
Money
Resources cards:
There are three types of employees: CREATIVES (green) – 80 cards, ANALYSTS (blue) – 30 cards and ACCOUNT MANAGERS (red) – 100 cards.
Clients cards:
There are two types of clients: temporary (for one project only) and permanent (long-term clients)
Dices:
There will be 2 dices (maybe more). Each time you roll dices the sum you get is how much moves you can make on field
Main field:
City map with clients offices, universities, conference halls, bars, etc.
Agency space:
One big card which symbolizes you agency inner space. On this big card you will put your own resources, clients that you have, awards that you won, etc. – everuthing that you earn during the game.

You can win clients only if you have enough resources to answer their needs. You can hire resources only if you have enoufgh money for that. You have money only if you have good clients.
That’s it actually – quite simple yet not primitive. Very real-life but without too many details.

Long-term clients – those who come just for to your agency not for one project but for a long time. They pay you fee – fixed ammount of money every period. Only your bad service or attractive proposal from other agency can make them leave.

So you see GAZROOM is long-term client who doesn’t care about how awarded your agency is and working with it will not give you opportunity to win festivals.
It needs quite a lot of management resources but you can manage this client using junior-to-middle strength resources.

Peoject-based clients – those who come just for one project and leave as soon as it is finished.

So you see Mapple is a project-based client that values awards and ready to may more for them, it also gives opportunity to make really creative work and win awards.
It fixes quite high fine for project cancellation because this project is very important for them.
It prefers to work mostly with senior specialists and it is mandatory that you should have creative legend to sign contract with Mapple.
What we think now is that each player will have 2 game pieces:
– hr-manager
– new business director
He will move both of them in his turn:
HR manager can hire new people from universities, buy them from other agencies or develop their skills on trainings.
New Business Director will grab new clients from market, attack other agencies’ clients, find pitches.

HR-директор может нанимать новых людей из университетов, перекупать их у других агентств и развивать, водя на тренинги.
New business director может находить новых клиентов, переманивать их у других агентств, находить новые тендеры.
